At present’s Picture of the Day is the “Ice Dome of the Waterfall” by Stephani Holdorf. Location: Yellowstone Nationwide Park.
“We took a snowmobile tour of the Yellowstone Grand Canyon within the park in late December,” explains Holdorf. “It was a stupendous day and all of the snow that fell on the park beneath the waterfall shaped an enormous ice dome. Waterfalls are nice in winter.
